How to Display Products When No Results Are Found in the Instant Search Icon Widget ?
When a customer performs a search and no matching results are found, you can take advantage of the "Suggestion When No Result" feature to display your best-selling products, helping to increase sales.
Setting this up is simple.
Just follow these steps:
- Select the Search Input element on the right, then click the Settings tab and click the icon marked with a red arrow
- Checkbox input: Enable Keyword Suggestion
- Enter the name of the suggestion label, for example: "Best Seller".
- Click on the suggestions displayed below your input
- Checkbox input: Enable Keyword Suggestion.
- Then, select a product by clicking the "Select Product" button.
- A popup will appear displaying a list of products.
- Choose the product that best fits your needs.
- Your selected product will appear below the "Select Product" button.
Let's try a search that returns no results:
- Replace the dummy data with real data by selecting the option in the top-right corner, marked with a red arrow. For more detailed information, please refer to How to change a dummy product to a real product?
- Click the search icon to open the search section.
- Enter a random or nonsensical keyword to trigger an empty search result. When no results are found, product suggestions will automatically appear.
