Show Judge.me star ratings on Sledge widgets
Sledge can display your Judge.me product ratings directly on the product cards inside Sledge's search, filter, recommendation, and bundle widgets — so shoppers see social proof wherever they browse, not only on product pages.
The best part: once you flip the toggle, it works automatically. No theme edits or code changes required.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- The Judge.me Product Reviews app installed on your Shopify store
- Judge.me reviews already showing correctly on your product pages
- Sledge installed and active
If Judge.me isn't showing ratings on your own product pages yet, set that up first — Sledge reuses the same data.
How to enable it
- In your Shopify Admin, open Sledge
- In the left sidebar, click Settings & Support
- Open the Integration page
- Find the Judge.me row and flip the switch ON
The toggle saves automatically — you'll see a "Settings saved" confirmation at the bottom of the screen. Ratings will start appearing on Sledge product cards within about a minute.
> Note: Judge.me and Loox cannot both be active at the same time. Turning Judge.me ON will automatically turn Loox OFF. Only one review provider can be shown at a time.
Where ratings will appear
This integration only adds ratings to Sledge's own product cards — the ones rendered inside Sledge widgets. It does not change how Judge.me appears anywhere else on your store.
Once enabled, Judge.me star ratings show up on product cards in:
- Sledge search results
- Sledge instant search dropdown
- Sledge product filter / collection grids
- Sledge product recommendations
- Sledge bundle listings
Your existing Judge.me widgets on product pages, homepage, and anywhere else on your theme are not affected — they keep working exactly as before.
Troubleshooting
Ratings aren't showing up. Wait about a minute, then refresh your storefront and clear your browser cache. If you use a CDN or page cache, clear that too.
Ratings show on product pages but not on Sledge widgets. Re-open Sledge → Settings & Support → Integration and confirm the Judge.me switch is ON.
Can I turn on Judge.me and Loox at the same time? No. They're mutually exclusive — enabling one will automatically disable the other.
Do I need to edit my theme or add any code? No. The integration is fully automatic once the toggle is on.
